Did You See The Airplanes In The Clark Fork River?
Two Fridays ago, our guests on the Clark Fork River were in for a surprise – three Boeing 737 fuselages “flew” (or rather were FLUNG) into the Clark Fork River near Fang rapid when the Montana Rail Link freight cars derailed and plunged into the Clark Fork. Nobody was hurt during the late night railroad accident, but it made for a once-in-a-lifetime trip that nobody will soon forget. – Thank you Kyle Massick, our new Clark Fork River photographer, for snapping this amazing photo
NEW: Clark Fork River Theme Weekends
4 weekends left in summer. Let’s make the most of it by making each weekend a different theme.
If you are booked (or book a weekend trip on any of these days), collect some body paint, break-out the pirate hat, dust off the prom dress or don your favorite flower shirt for these Saturday and Sunday river themed trips.
Every theme is optional and you can always dress the way you want. But if you march to the beat of a different drummer, get ready to get creative!
AUGUST 2 & 3 = DRESS UP
No rules, no guidelines, come as you want dressed the way you want. You might see your guide in an Avatar costume or pink bunny suit, dressed as a cowboy or ready to pillage the village as a viking!
AUGUST 9 & 10 = PROM
Back by popular demand, put on your fanciest duds, dresses and prom wear for a day to remember. Evening festivities ensue at Pangaea once the sun goes down.
AUGUST 16 & 17 = PIRATE DAY
Grab your eye-patches, pirate hats, striped shirts, bandanas and pirate flags and set sail on the Clark Fork River.
AUGUST 23 & 24 = BAHAMAS IN MONTANA
Who needs to travel to the southern latitudes for sunshine, water and sand. Get your Caribbean on with Pangaea on the Clark Fork. Bring your grass skirts, Magnum PI jungle bird shirts or dirty mustaches
